Student Management System Website Redesign to Empower Educational Administration
Overview
The Student Management System (SMS) is an essential tool for educational institutions, designed to manage student information, attendance, grades, and more. However, the previous SMS website struggled with outdated design, poor navigation, and limited functionality, hindering the efficiency of administrators and educators. Our objective was to redesign the SMS website, using WordPress, to create a more intuitive, secure, and scalable platform that could meet the evolving needs of educational administration.
Discovery
The existing SMS had several issues that needed addressing. Users reported difficulties with navigation, slow data processing, and concerns about data security. To better understand these challenges, we conducted interviews with key stakeholders, analyzed user feedback, and performed a comprehensive audit of the existing system.
